Hey, there! I'm Nicole
I'm a wildlife lover and photographer living in southern California. Here, we share the landscape with bunnies, rattlesnakes, coyotes, and bobcats, among others. I'm passionate about advocating for our wild neighbors, whether by educating locals about respectful coexistence, participating in rescue efforts, or via the written word. For many years, I co-ran a sanctuary for wolves and wolfdogs and have written twelve books on canine behavior. I'm a photographer for Project Coyote’s Capture Coexistence campaign, and donate artwork centered on my wildlife photography to organizations that promote conservation and education. I also serve on the advisory board of the Apex Protection Project, an organization dedicated to the preservation of wild wolves.
